Welcome to Red Sea International Airport
Red Sea International Airport (RSI) was conceived, designed, and delivered by Red Sea Global to serve as the primary gateway to The Red Sea destination. Blending architectural innovation with environmental responsibility, RSI offers travelers a luxurious and seamless arrival experience while championing sustainable aviation.a
Designed by Foster + Partners, the airport’s dune-inspired terminal reflects the natural beauty of its surroundings and sets new benchmarks for design excellence in the region. The facility is powered entirely by renewable energy, in line with Red Sea Global’s commitment to regenerative development.
RSI opened in 2023 for domestic flights via Saudia, expanded to international services in 2024 with flydubai, and welcomed Qatar Airways in October 2025, connecting the destination directly with Doha. The airport’s first terminal phase is fully operational, with future expansions aligned to the continued growth of The Red Sea and AMAALA.
